Nothing Phone (1) reached the doorstep of the launch, got IMDA certification

 Over the last few months, the technology community has been discussing the new tech brand Nothing's first smartphone, Nothing Phone (1). Although the company has not yet released any information about the handset, various reports and sources have already revealed that the upcoming phone will come with a transparent back panel, super-slim bezel and a Snapdragon processor. Now, before announcing the launch date of another popular Tipstar, Nothing Phone (1) has been spotted on the IMDA certification website in Singapore, pointing to its upcoming launch.

Nothing Phone (1) received IMDA certification site approval

Tipster Mukul Sharma (Stufflistings) was the first to spot Nothing Phone (1) with model number A063 on the IMDA site in Singapore and shared the site list on Twitter. The list goes on to say that the upcoming phone will have 5G connectivity and will come with Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC support.

In another tweet, Mukul Sharma confirmed that Nothing Phone (1) is currently undergoing personal testing in several Asian countries, including Indonesia, India and Malaysia. Significantly, the handset was reported to be in the final stages of testing in India in May, so Nothing Phone (1) is expected to hit the Indian market before other markets in the world. As mentioned earlier, this first phone from Nothing will feature a transparent back panel and a recycled aluminum mid-frame. It will have a fancy front design with a narrow bezel instead of a thick chin at the bottom.

By the way, Nothing Phone (1) will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Although the name of this processor is not yet known, it is speculated that it may use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset for improved performance. In the case of software, Nothing Phone (1) will run on Android 12 based in-house Nothing OS user interface. Moreover, the smartphone will get 3 years OS update and 4 years safety update.

Note that no information about the other technical features of Nothing Phone (1) has been released yet. However, according to previous reports, the upcoming device may hit the market on July 21.
